If there is a future interest, the Tex-Ark Antique Auto Museum would host a convention of Durant enthusiast here in Texarkana Texas, Arkansas.
On Tuesday, we hosted the First Smokey and Bandit Run from here to Atlanta, Ga. We had about 80 Trans-Ams depart from here and many, many more are joining at various points along the route. This turned out to be a fantastic event and we will be available for any future auto related events in this area.
There are numerous motels and an RV park on I-30 and the Tex, Ark state line.
The Museum is located in downtown Texarkana, Ark at 217 Laurel St. and we have an additional 3/4 of a city block for parking and show area.
If more info is needed contact me by email or the Museum at: www.texarkaam.org

The nearest airport is Texarkana Municipal and does have regular scheduled airlines. It is located on the East side of Texarkana, Ark.,about two miles from downtown Texarkana and the Museum and three miles from the hotels.

Congratulations Don....Enjoyed the website and your restoration photos of the 50 Dodge Coronet. Are you in any of the photos taken in the restoration process?? Or, "Will the real Don Shilling please stand up." Hope your "Security Chief" finds that wheel...Thanks for your efforts in keeping this great hobby moving.....

Visited you site and checked out every page. What a great group of cars represented there. When is the Star going to be done so Durant Motors can be represented? The building looks great also, very period. Best of luck with the project.
