Being from the UK I ship from aus and the US and find the easiest way for small ammounts is to get the $ australian this case from the bank or money exchange , saves all the wondering if its right or not . Have to say I have never had any problems.

Gary - you are being conned by an Smart Ass Aussie. Both Australia and New Zealand accept US Dollar notes without question and pay up to 20% over the face value.
