With the best intention to improve the look of my Rugby M2 28 y removed stanchions and windshield posts and sent for re-chroming to a shop. Unfortunately the right stanchion that had several welds exploded when trying to repair it. What appeared then, was that the left one was made out of bronze and the right one of casted iron, but are not hand to hand, the lower holes are at different distances. More curious even, was that the cowl fit perfect with each part and had no signs at all of being modified.

I am trying to repair the broken part but it is a complicated piece and welding such a piece is not so easy to control.

Does somebody have one to sell? Should be the right hand for the M2 model.
