Thanks to Bill Hoaglan and Jan Arnett who reponded to my hunt for a quality chrome side view mirror, I ordered one from lebaronbonney.com. It is easily installed by tapping out the pin in the upper driver's door hinge. The new unit comes with a new pin and fits as if made for the car. Nicely adjustable. No holes to drill. A substantial improvement in driver vision.
