Here's a pic of a '23 Star Speedster under construction. This from the NW Vintage Speedsters club here in Portland, Oregon. It looks like they these guys have a lot of fun.

I'm toying with the idea of building a quick and dirty speedster body for my '29 D40 so I can have some fun with it while I'm working on restoring the sedan body.

i learned today that cliff durant, wcd's son is featured for his racing endeavors in "Automobile Quarterly..vol 40 # 3...that should be from year 2002

There was a picture of Jaun Manuel Fangio and his Durant race car in the racing part of the photo section but it seems to have disappeared.
