At the rear end of the W5 engine is a casted part that holds 180° of the packing that seals the cranckshaft. The other 180° of the groove are in the block , the casting part, also colects the leaking oil and sends it back to the carter.
What is the best material for that seal? Will a teflon square section rope work?
Hi Ricardo
I got this seal from olson gaskets in the US , their details are in the Durant partner. If you have any problems let me know and I will send you their contact details
