Power train parts

We have (26 Star R Coach) experienced a sudden power train disconnection somewhere behind the transmission -- could be a broken axel. Mechanic will identify problem Monday morning. What is the source for drive shaft, differential or axel parts if needed?

Re: Power train parts

Ron, I have parts for your car in Texarkana, Tex. Let me know what you need,
Don Shilling

Superb support!

My recent post to locate an axel for the 26 Star Coach attracted a number of Durant club members offering help, advice and resources. Many thanks to Lance Haynes, Bert Babick, Bruce Hargin, Bob Krause and Don Shilling for fast and helpful advice to solve the problem. A broken axel was confirmed, now awaiting FedEx or ? for the part. The support system and kindness of all has contributed to the delight of antique Star ownership. Cordially, Ron
