How can I replace the horn wire in the steering shaft on my 26 Star Mod "R"

Can anyone tell me how to go about replacing the armored wire that goes from the horn button down through the steering shaft and to the horn on a 1926 Star 6 Model "R" Coupe. It looks as though there must be an exit hole from the steering shaft near the small hole in the top of the steering column just behind the dash but I have been unable to locate it. HELP!
