I would like to know if the engine in my 28 Durant 60 would have been mounted with insulators. It appeared to have some sort of rubber washer in front and none in rear. The exhaust system was mounted solid. What is correct? Does it hurt to mount with rubber insulators?

My 29 14L came with rubber motor mounts in the front. Since the rubber was worn away, I went to a Model A Suppler and purchased the replacement rubber for Float A Motor engine mounts. I cut it to fit and it seems to have worked well.
