Today (8/22) Lance and I, along with our wives, participated in a replica of the great race from New York to Paris. This event was hosted by the San Diego Horseless Carriage Club and consisted of about 60 miles of driving and 6 stops along the way, and about 4 hours for the trip. The stops were such places as New York, San Francisco, China, Berlin, and Paris.
It was a great day, great weather, and I know that Peg and I got to see parts of San Diego County that we did not know existed.
I can only say that the person that put this together, and he is a member of the DMAC, did a great job, and if it is done next year, we are looking forward to being a participant again.
