I've been going to the Academy 2 (or Main Debating Hall as it was) for years now, and I can truthfully say I have never seen it as full as last night. No wonder they moved us all downstairs!!

The band were on great form, as were the crowd, and I sometimes stood, bellowing tunelessly along, with tears in my eyes at the songs and the response from around us. Any kind of objective review is hopeless because I just cannot put into words how last night felt.

Gig of the year, definitely. One of the best I've ever seen, quite possibly.......

Me too.... I have never seen that room so full in 25-30 years of attending gigs there.....
I also echo your comments and pleas for a 'Say it like it is' return to the set..... However, last night was fantastic even without it.....
