Vocal Care

Hi all, I know I always seem to be on the scrounge when I visit this site and I hate to display my begging cap again, but recently I've hurt my throat singing, whilst recording at home, and I wondered if any fellow singers had any tips for vocal care and recovery?

I've had a camera shoved up my hooter by a specialist recently (which was considerably less than pleasant) so there's no permanent or significant damage, but my throat remains very sore no matter how much I rest it.

Now, I'm no Steve Overland (hell, as a singer I'm no Steve McFadden, come to think of it) but if I can't warble at home then someone get a shotgun and have me put down because a life without music...forget it. So any advice or tips would be hugely, HUGELY appreciated.

Thanks a million in advance.

Best wishes

Robert Perry

Re: Vocal Care

Dude - hope it's mended now, but I generally just eat loads of clear honey to soothe a bad throat - honest![8-)]
