I'm not sure how many of you listen to Planet Rock on digital radio, but you may or may not be aware that the company that owns the station have plans to close it down by the end of March.

There's a campaign to try and save the station ...
When I heard the news this morning, I immediately sent an email to GCap, to tell them how disappointed I was with the decision to close Planet Rock by the end of March 2008.
I have subsequently set up an online petition to SAVE Planet Rock here:
And already new "SAVE Planet Rock" groups have been set up on Facebook and Myspace.
However, we need to spread the word around the entire ROCK community to ensure that if GCap "DO" pull the plug, that someone else can step in and take over.
So, please sign the petition and spread the word.....we HAVE to SAVE Planet Rock !!
