Re: surviving crews?

My neighbour, George Clarke, was a member of the Dambusters, I believe he was a bomber, and is still alive and living in the family home in Kahibah, NSW, Australia. His family have lived there since my grandparents emigrated from England after WW1 in 1920.

Re: surviving crews?

I am sure that Les Munro is the only surviving pilot, there maybe some of the aircrew still alive. JM.

Re: surviving crews?

Sadly, I have just been informed that George Clarke passed away a couple of days ago. He died very peacefully, a lovely, kind and quiet man. RIP.
Janice.
