I am trying to research David Shannon, who you will all know piloted AJ-L on the Dams Raid and continued with 617 Squadron until July 1944. I have read that his front gunner, F/O Brian Jagger DFM was killed in a training accident, evidently some time after February 1944. I have not been able to locate any details about the accident. Can anyone shed light?
