I am currently doin some research for the BBC on the Dambusters. We are interested in finding out more about the youngest pilot to be killed in the 1943 raid called, Jack Liddell.
Very little seems to be known about this young man, other than his hometown, which was Weston Super Mare and his parents who were Robert and Winnifred Liddell. I also know he was just fourteen when we signed up, havign lied about his age. He died at the age of eighteen.
Anyone with any information or contacts of those who might be able to help us with this film would be hugely appreciated. I would also be very interested to hear from any relatives of Jack Liddell.
