i recently sent a post detailing my grandfathers participation on flight AJ-J ED 906 G FLT D Maltby
as rear gunner i am contacting the RAF for my grandfathers operation records. will this show his release from 61 squadron to 617 squadron and transfer back to 61 when the raids were over. in the letter the RAF blamed the fact that he was not a regular crew member for the error but i have looked at the operations log for 617 and the mistake started with that from what i can tell. can anyone help me find the answers and correct this injustice please.Also big thank you to dominic without whome i could not have made a START.
