I'm a producer of radio programmes for the BBC among others. I currently have a programme proposal regarding 617 squadron; not only the dambusters time but also up to the current day. It is a programme about human sacrifice in the face of struggle and the defence of the nation. As a son of an RAF officer, the dambusters story has always been with me.
If anyone would like to suggest content for the programme, please do let me know. It isn't finally commissioned yet; there is another stage to go. Final submission is 16th March.
