My Grandfather served as a pilot in the RAF during WWII, and flew Lancasters...I know he was involved with the original test flights made over the lake district but not much else. There is also a picture in the family of him with his crew in front of their Lancaster with "Walfords Wolves" written near the tail, after my grandfather Thomas Walford. If anyone can advise me on how to find out what operations he took part in and if there is any of his old crew still alive I would be most grateful!!
