BBC Television is looking to make a short item about the Paul Brickhill book "The Dam Busters", first published 1951, in Pan in 1954, for a series on best-sellers of the decade. Any interesting stories out there from people who remember its publication? How was it received by 617 squadron? I've contacted someone at the present squadron number, but no reply yet.
