According to Reuters today, Peter Jackson is going to remake the movie about the dams raid. In the text, as presented on CNN news, it states "a specially chosen group of pilots from Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States."
I'm not aware of any Americans who were part of the squadron and I HOPE this isn't another example of a movie stretching the truth for audience count.
If there were Americans in the squadron I apologize to them for this question.
I think the exploits of the UK crews can and should stand on their own, not Hollywood hype.
