I was in Woodhall Spa today, Sunday 30 Nov 2003, and I went to the memorial shown in your photos. It makes it all come alive and I felt a great respect for these incredible young men but the thing that touched me most was a bunch of fresh flowers (still fresh) among the poppy wreaths with a hand written note. It was for Guy Gibson 'one in a million - to my sweatheart' Who left them there?
