A couple of years ago I came across an old typewriter which had been owned by the above (later Air Cdre)- his card was stuck to the case, showing his address as the RAF Club, Piccadilly.
I have (via the Aeroplane magazine) found someone who knew him after the war. Paul Brickhill's book mentions him several times - seems he was a bit of a character. I only 'found' this book today, though my father, as a serving RAF officer, had it on his book-shelf all the time I was growing up!
I would be grateful for any information, particularly with regards to wartime service, post war service and what became of him.
