Hi I wonder if anyone who was serving in Gibraltar from 1955 to 1957 would be prepared to help me. I am trying to trace my father who was serving in the Seaforths during that period. I have very few details and I am not sure how reliable they are. My mother was a local girl called Flora and she and my father were courting for a year before the Regiment left. My father may have been originally from Jersey but lived later in Newcastle. My mother died in 1988, so I cannot confirm any of this. My father's first name was possibly Kevin, his surname was a French sounding name. Apparently he was a maniac driver! If anybody can remember any of this please help me. I would like to find out more about my father and indeed contact him if he is still alive.
