If anyone's interested we've got something a bit different in Darnaway this Sunday (25th). 27 orienteering markers with various points scores are set out in the northern half of Darnaway Forest. You get exactly an hour to find as many as you can, with penalties if you're late back. Quite a few of the controls are dead easy to find. It's all very friendly and low key and no matter how bad your navigation everyone will score something.
We're using our electronic tagging system and it's just £3 to take part. Pitch up at the former Bumbles Play Centre near Brodie at 10 am from where it's a 10 mins walk to the start. Full details are on the Moravian Orienteers web site. An ideal warm-down after Paul's Sunday morning training!
