info on jack johnson ,wilcox s/p , champagne bucket

I am trying to get info on a piece possibly made for Jack Johnson the boxer ,this may have been his personel piece that I have its a champagne bucket with a domed top like cracked ice. the top is mounted with the head or bust including shoulders of jack johnson the boxer wearing his signiture boler hat circa early 1900's.I have found out he owned the club Delux in harlem n.y. in the early 1900's that later became the original cotton club.The piece has wilcox silverplate co. ,in a cirle with crossed hammer mark and #785please call me 404 217 8915

Your piece sounds interesting and may have significant historical value if it did belong to the prize fighter Jack Johnson. I am not certain that I can give you any further information. I suspect there are those who are experts in the fighter's career and would be interested in seeing you piece. I will see what I can find and get back to you.
