Victorian Beresford Silverplate chafing dish - vintage 1850-1899

I am concerned the below item is not vintage "1850-1899" as portrayed in the EBAY advert. "Gorgeous antique Victorian Beresford silverplate chafing / serving dish with rolling lid. Extremely ornate and fancy with exquisite repousse flowers and detailed legs and feet. The opening handle appears to be ivory. I am not sure exactly what the function of this piece is - chafing, cooling, etc., but it is absolutely phenomenal and could certainly be used for a myriad of purposes. Measures 14" wide and 9" tall. Fully signed and hallmarked. Just gorgeous!"
