I have a silver sugar shaker. Dome lid with etched floral design, flame finial, canister having repousse village scene with figure, house, fences. It has a mark on the bottom of a windmill, flanked by a smoking pipe on each side of the windmill. Any idea of the maker and age?
Your silverplate shaker was manufactured by the Barbour Silver Company of Hartford, Connecticut. The company was one of the first to join with others to become the International Silver Company. I am unable to give you a date of manufacture.
