Special Guest at 1/9 business Meeting.

On Friday, January 9th, after our usual business meeting, Beth Anderson of "Just Get Movin" will be our honored guest speaker (meeting at 8PM, guest speaker to follow). Beth is a funny, warm, and energetic woman who will talk and entertain us with her views on movement at any size and at any age. The creed she lives by is..."its not about weight loss, its about movement and feeling better." She personally understands the hurdles that everyone faces when exercising, especially for plus-sizes, but also emphasizes the great benefits when even small amounts of exercise are included in our lives. She'll present some simple exercises that can be done while sitting on chairs or using fit balls as well as some easy-to-do stretches that feel great. Even simple exercises can help people walk better, be more comfortable, and elevate their mood.

Beth Anderson has been a certified fitness motivator and trainer for plus-sized women and men for over 12 years. She designs gentle, non-intimidating movement programs for plus-sized and super-sized people. Her motto is "...if its fun for you, lets do it" and she incorporates that into her programs of water aerobics, stretching, walking, weights, and "moving with Motown gentle aerobics". Over the years, Beth has helped hundreds of people to slowly and gently include movement into their lives and feel better for the effort!

See information on website for directions to the January 9th business meeting.

Thanks,
Stephen
