Be Careful and Start very slowly!!!

Dear all, It has been about two weeks since I came across this website and started drinking more water (about the prescribed amount) with 1/8 tsp (I figured it would be about a pinch of salt) on my tongue. My body went into crisis. Starting second day I started waking up in the middle of the night that hasn't stopped yet. I also get more hungry. I'm having to take sleep medication every night since I have to function during the day. Somehow I missed the information about increasing the water very very slowly. Also, the amount of water might depend on the amount of salt you take and your body chemistry. If you are already polyuric (like me) your body might get out of wack. I reduced the amount of water the replaced most of it by juice and still have to pee in less than 2 hours. If you don't eat much salt, probably first increase the amount of salt and then water. I'm waiting for my life to return to normal. I'm eating a lot of salt but am more tired than used to be. One good thing is that I quit drinking tea for last two day and I'm sure that will have long term benefits. I believe in the power of salt and water but you have to do it very slowly and according to your body. For me it's also very hard to track exactly how much I was drinking. May be first watch your intake for few days before making any changes. The salt has to be either wet dark grey celtic sea salt or real salt or pink Himalayan salt. Also you might need to supplement with Iodine depending on your intake from other sources. Drinking a lot of water might put a lot of pressure on your kidneys if not done appropriately. I would like to get some personal guidance from someone who has seen positive results.
