I have heard that there may be a fortune to be had if you just learn more about composting - taking all those old bits of lettuce and food (except for meat and chicken and fish) and combine them with various things like cardboard, put them all into a closed vessel composter, make sure to turn it every day, and in about one month you could have lots of beautiful compost to use in your gardens or around your prized flowers. The compost could be used to make gardens at all the schools and help teach the kids how to take care of our land through recycling some things we waste and give back new dirt for more gardens in which to grow flowers and vegetables. I would love to be part of a forum talking about my philosophy and how I grew up and one motto was "waste not, want not" and another was "making do" - we don't really need all those things we see . . .Do write back and let's chat.
