I have PL and would like to start playing it again. Haven't really played it
since I was a teenager (35 now). I'd like to get some simple email games under my
belt to get back into the swing of it and maybe get a group of people to do an email tourny or league.

this is a good place to ask. You should also ask over on Consimworld. There are PB & PL discussion boards there. I am committed to a couple of PB games & some AIW also. Perhaps one of the future umpired games will suit you.
Yeah actually I came across the VASSAL webpage and
that looks like the way to go. As much as I like
dragging out the boards and setting stuff up (I have
two copies of the game) the VASSAL system looks nice
if for no other reason I don't have to worry about my
son or the cats from messing things up.
Give me a yell down the road if you'd like to do a game.
Are there some simpler scenarios out there that can be
played just to learn the mechanics of the game? Is there
a website out there anywhere with scenario lists?
