If I could make freakin' vassal work I'd use it. It won't run for me.

I would like to but where the heck can I get a working vassal program ? The download on the Vassal homepage doesn't work.

I am new to Vassal. I successfully downloaded the Windows installer (albeit it is the installer for VASL - Advanced Squad Leader). This download does include the Vassal engine and the mods for playing ASL.



If you have that installed, I can give you a couple of additinal files that will launch the Vassal engine only (allowing you to create new mod files, etc.) and the latest PB/PL mod file from Dennis Jorgenson.
