We have a photo of the tug-o-war team representing 5th Brigade v. 34th Inf. Brigade (Australian Army) which shows my father in law John Harries who was CSM. The others in the photo are Lt Nesbit, Ssgt Jones, Pte Kearney, Sgt Campbell, Sgt McKay, Sgt Milne, Pte Drever, Sgt McGoughan, Capt McLeod and Cpl Robinson. Does anyone recognise the names or know of anyone who represented the Brigade? We have no information whatsoever about John other than he served in India and Japan. Can anyone help us with info on where else we could look for information on him. He enlisted at Fort George and when we tried to get him assistance when he was ill, were told that the records had all been in a fire at FG and so there was nothing we could do for him.
