I have in my posession a Lovat Scouts badge,it is circular, with a stag embem in the centre, the outer circle is covered in blue enamel with the name Lovat Scout around it also at the bottom is the letter Y which I assume means Yoemanry,the metal is silver and is hallmarked,on the back is stamped Lambourne & co,Birmingham. I am not a military man, but am very interested in this badge and it's history, someone told me it is a lapel or cap badge. could anyone throw any light on the subject, I would be happy to send a photo to anyone interested.
