I'd like to see some examples of sites hosten on bravanet. To see their speed and compatibility. Can i do anything with the hosted space. I mean uploads the web site and some zip files for download for my clients. That sort of stuff.

You are not required to use the on-line editors and can upload a site from your PC. The file types supported are limited with the free service and to use zip files you would have to upgrade.

You can always create a test site with free hosting and then decide if you want to upgrade or scrap it.

i find it as fast as any other service/host. your isp connection, modem, and computer components may also play a role in speed.

Connection speed isn't a problem from the UK but there are many factors involved. As I said before you can create a free test site with no obligation and test how good the connection is from your own location.
