What do you mean as a ¨subdomain¨?

Have you got an index.html uploaded for your domain?

Yes I have a index.html uploaded. I've created the frontpage, but when I go to the site created "http://kthomas.gtcevent.com" (Given when I published) it says server not found.

Is this with Bravenet? Is there are spelling error in your post?

My original domain is with Google, I've selected a subdomain (child domain) to be able to create a website on bravenet that would be associated with the parent domain.

Is this it?

That's actually the page where admin enter to log in. The google page is www.gtcevent.com.

I got there (to the URL I posted) by trying this address:

http://gtcevent.com

I did some Google searches, and I think there is a way you can get your site to work without the www.

And I think for your subdomain, you may have to wait for DNS propagation. Not sure about that, but you could try pinging these three domain names:

www.gtcevent.com
gtcevent.com
kthomas.gtcevent.com

and see if the results look correct to you.

The site I direct people to go to is

http://www.gtcevent.com/

http://gtcevent.com is for the admin staff to login to their internal accounts.

I'll wait for the DNS and see if that resolves my issue.

Okay now I have a huge problem...since our discussion when trying to go to

Telling me that the page is unconfigured. I can get to it in mozilla, but I'm unable to locate the URL in IE.

i see it and I have IE

works OK here, using Firefox 2, IE6 and IE7. ISP is Cox cable.

http://kthomas.gtcevent.com/

is still failing, according to OpenDNS.

You haven't said if the ping results look correct to you.

From what I saw, it is possible that the server at Google is doing what it's supposed to, and the server at Bravenet isn't configured to support the URL it's being sent. Are you sure you have signed up at Bravenet for the service you're expecting?
