15. How can I transfer my domain name?
You can initiate a domain transfer by following these steps:

1. Log into Bravenet and click on "Domains"
2. Click on "Transfer a Domain"
4. Enter your domain name, and click on the "Transfer Domain" button
6. Select the domain contact you want to use in the dropdown box
7. Enter your domain transfer password(EPP code)
8. Click on the "Transfer Domain" button
9. Choose your payment method, and click on the Pay button


this transfers your domain if you still want to keep the domain from bravenet and just change your hosting to elsewhere.

And make sure all your information to the new host is correct with DNS server info as well


so you may have to open a ticket perhaps if the steops here don't work and all.


Then you can redesign your site where you are moving it to or with your own software since does look like you were using the wizard here at bravenet

If your original site was built with the Wizard then build your new version on your PC BEFORE doing anything else.

Then find your new host, upload the new site and then follow the instructions for redirecting the domain name.

Anything else will result in your site being down while things are being sorted.
