Okay this is just a small friendly petition for those people that want the ability to have CRONs. What is a cron? cron is a system that uses ticks or a set amount of time to pass before performing a automated action. such uses are increasing a users age on a website(how long they been registered that is) or reseting someones health in a game. pretty much all regeneration processes rely on a CRON. But for some reason bravehost doesn't have CRON support. Why? Well the staff of bravehost hasn't really answered that one from what I can see. anyways IF enough paid members(must be paid members to run scripts. that cron uses) sign this petition they might install it for us. what everyone say? sign up.
We have no time frame but we are currently working on a higher end hosting system that will include things like cron jobs, ssh logins, RoR, etc. We still have a ways to go before it is stable and we want to make it perfect before releasing it to the public!
We really appreciate your feedback and do take it seriously. Cron jobs are being worked on!
hmm idk with some the replies that threads get about cron jobs I dont think yous do take it seriously. espcially since some the threads have no post at all repling to them. and stable platforms for webhosters are readily and easily avaible via online. such example of one.
