How do I overwrite the index.html placeholder put in place with a site of my own. I am able to get to the other sites through the internet, but I want to change the site people view when they type in the website

well you have got to make your index.html page and publish it over it

unless you have deleted it already and you should not have because the index.html page is supposed to be your main homepage


so whatever you named your homepage as change it to index.html and publish/upload it again

since not sure how you even made your site to start

OK, you have deleted the placeholder but you must still name your home page index.html or index.htm
