but you could either have gotten a domain but do you have PAID HOSTING with it

if you don't have the premium hosting then your site will have the ads.

but could be something down to your browser seeing a cached version of your page.

without a link to see your page for ourselves we don't know fully where to go

There are several possible reasons for this, most down to problems at your end not Bravenet's. We would have been able to make a pretty good guess if you had posted a link to the site.
