for some reason on my side Navigation panel
right above "Main Page"
it says Search My
and part of the the backround of the panel is white
i need to get rid of it
it makes it look sucky

I have visited your site.
but don't understand how that 'search my' is present there.
Try a different template and see if it still appears.

something you are doing there is adding it in

so you need to check that template and more the coding where that area is and take out the search for text and the color coding needs to match the white you have there is because of the background color ="#f2f2f2 you have there as well.
