it is probably down to hotmail problem since hotmail, yahoo, msn, gmail, aol are all ones that have strong filters that may block e-mails from reaching you
so perhaps check your junk/spam folder to see if any mails have gotten there
otherwise may have to find some e-mail that isn't hotmail to perhaps use but not sure with the uk extension you have what there is to use.

Register a domain name?
Make sure that bravenet.com is added to your safe list in Hotmail.
Make sure that your Hotmail spam filters are at at their minimum settings and nothing is being automatically deleted.
Then there will be a 50% chance that Hotmail may just choose to deliver the Bravenet confirmation.
You could try opening a free webmail account at uk2.net, they let a bit if spam through but don't dump legit stuff the way Hotmail does.
