I have searched this forum and found that others who had a problem updating their pages, were editing in file manager than publishing through wizard. I'm not doing that...or rather I have made changes in file manager AND wizard, all consistent with the changes that I want to make. Then, when I go to publish, nothing happens.
When I type in my browser: www.jessicaandclark.bravehost.com, my corrections show up. However, if I click on my photos page and from that page click "home" it takes me to the original older outdated version. Also, my pages are correct in text/visual editor, as well as in Wizard, but when I click "view my website" it's the older outdated version. THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. Please help.
1. If you are using the wizard to make your pages then you publish in the WIZARD ONLY
2. If you are using the other editor to edit your page then go hit the publish button in the wizard editor GUESS WHAT you JUST LOST ALL YOUR WORK
DO NOT use the publish button in the wizard editor if you are not using the wizard to make or edit your pages.
if you are using the visual/text or away from the wizard you save or use the ftp applet or use an ftp editor to upload/publish your pages
now if you are not seeing your updated version of your page then refresh your pages a few times to force YOUR BROWSER to find the updated version of YOUR page and also doesn't hurt to clean out your temporary internet files folder as well.
could also check your settings to see how often your browser updates as well too because adjusting that might help with seeing the updated version of pages as well on YOUR browser
