Date and Time scripts do not actually run on the web server. They become part of your web page code and get downloaded with the rest of your page. So they run on your visitors PC in their browser. This also means that the scripts can only reflect the time and/or date on the visitors PC.
Usually it's a waste of time putting a date or time on a web site. Most of your visitors already know the date and time. Both display in the lower right of my PC all the time. I don't need a web site telling me what the date and time is.
