#1 - I have downloaded the FileZilla successfully, and I am having trouble getting it to connect to my website www.bethel-cc.com. I need it to transfer some files. What should I input in the host box? - www.bethel-cc.com, bethel-cc.com, bethel-cc? Which one?

#2 - I also went to the Java FTP Applet. I successfully downloaded the updated Java, but my message is "connecting to remote server." It's been like this for a good while, and hasn't changed? What's wrong here.

(I am new at this website building, but have a good computer based knowledge).

you can get your ftp information by logging in and clicking the ftp tab

I don't use either of these because nothing but trouble

i use a third party ftp program and have not had one problem with it and more

so might look into that as well

Thanks, I am sorry if I am slow. However, in the host dialog box on the FileZilla application, what exactly should I input in the dialog box in the "Host" section. Should it be "bethel-cc.com," "www.bethel-cc.com," "bethel-cc," or the bravenet website with my user and password?

Logontype: Normal


User: Ex Bravenet
Password: Ex Bravenet



Then hit "OK"

Log back in to the same screen & click "Connect"

the information could be different even


because like mine is ftp9.bravehost.com

and the last post said ftp.28.bravehost.com

so might be on safe side to get yours by logging in and hit the ftp tab and go from there
