so either you made a mistake when purchasing perhaps


you can't change the domain name

you will have to purchase designerdogonline.com if that is the one you want


and keep the other one for as long as you have it


if you have the premium hosting you get a free domain as it says otherwise a domain will be 8.95 and can be used with free hosting

your url is designerdogonline.name/index.html


I am assuming you purchased the above domain here at bravenet as well.

you do have to pay for hosting as well so that could have been some of your cost if you purchased a plan under the premium hosting as well


you can design your site using whatever editors you want and can tell you the way it is needs work.

The picture for one is WAY WAY too big on page and that.

text is outside of space you have in the templates columns you are using as well

I never paid much attention as my domains are managed elsewhere but from my rather befuddled memory I think the free name with paid hosting is something that they stopped for a while then reintroduced.

My account is paid through january 28, but i got a message that said i have to pay for hosting. I already did pay for it.d

Why are you still advertising free web hosting and i was required to pay? Now you tell me i haven't paid and at the same time you say i need to renew by january 28, 08.

if you have hosting and the domain both they are seperate entities and you probably have to pay for both

I thought I did. They offered a three month trial with free domain. I had to pay for that. My three monthts was to end on jan 28. Now i am told I need to pay again. I ordered .com but got .name instead. You mean you are telling me to read the plans. Please! I am not the only one having this trouble. I won't sign up again and i will certainly tell anyone else i know not to fool with brave net. I know now how it got its name.

I have been using bravenet for over 2 years and I love it. I pay for my monthly hosting package and in addition, I have 5 years for my domain name here. If you have a problem, simply put in a support ticket and they will help you all they can. This is not the place to rant about a problem that the members can't solve for you, that is best done in support ticket with the powers that be that can do something to change your status or explain better what you paid for.
