Ive been using Dreamweaver for a little over a year now, but have never actually put a site online. Im trying to use the FTP found here on bravenet, but i keep getting an FTP Error code from Dreamweaver.
Heres the info Ive Input
FTP HOST: ftp8.bravehost.com
HOST DIRECTORY: /web/lawmanstoyfoxterriers.bravehost.com/
URL PREFIX:http://www.lawmanstoyfoxterriers.bravehost.com/

Whenever i try to connect i get this message:
An FTP Error Occured-Cannot Open Remote folder the file could not exist or have a permission problem...
PLEASE HELP!

I've been getting the same error. I use DW2004. But since 'Doug' at Bravenet support cannot figure out the problem, I finally did. DO NOT add 'host directory' info. Even though it says to, don't. I did that, and POOF! In like Flynn! I have other domains here and tried it with the others and I got into each specific domain root folder like I should've. They also say to make sure you're in 'passive' mode when trying, but that doesn't matter either.

To Bravenet:
If your support people are out of India, then they need some more lessons. If they're in the USA...I'd like an application please.
