Multi Domains

Can anyone answer this question.
If I purchase a subscrption it says I can have multi domains on one host account. Does this mean I can have 10 seperate websites on my account. Websites independent of each other and not connected to the original one? If I designh two websites can you tell they belong to the same person?

Each website will appear distinct to visitors and there will be no obvious connection but you need to note that space and bandwidth limits are for your account NOT for each site.
