external domain does not allow building of website

I changed the nameservers on my domain which is registered with mydomain.com. but bravenet will not allow creation of my website. it's this infinite loop where creation of website requires domain, and after registering the external domain, it keeps cycling through.
Anyone had this issue before? and how did you get around it?

thx.

Re: external domain does not allow building of website

I am not a Bravenet techie, although I have spent nearly 15 years doing technical work around the Internet.

Make double sure you used the "exact" numbers etc that Bravenet gave you.

You also need to allow up to 5+ days for your name host to enable Bravenet to connect. Good name host will do it faster.

Patience, a lot of it.

Re: external domain does not allow building of website

I'm having the same problem where it won't allow me to build the site. I ended up using my FTP to load the site up after I built it on my computer. However, now I need to figure out how to make it so the external domain goes to that particular folder on my account.

It has nothing to do with the name servers. It has to do with the Bravenet site not allowing you to BUILD the site once you add the external domain. As he said, it kind of does a loop thing and doesn't ever take you to the building page.

I am having the same problem. I show an external domain name and get into a loop that does not direct you to the web builder
